I selected Perossa as my PCP because I needed an annual check-up and he was on my providers list. Came to the office and had some blood work done and was told to schedule an appointment a month later for the actual check-up. Got a call a day before the appt that he would be out of office and need to reschedule, which was 3 months out. A week before I was supposed to see him (after 3 mos), got another call that he would be out of office. Stay away from this doctor and Village Medical at all costs.
I like him! I liked his staff. He explained things to me and the next day called me to tell me how my test turned out. He didn't seem to want to hurry me in and out. He took his time to talk.
Very professional. Answered all questions. Not rushed.
The referral process is inadequate my Cardiologist sent in a request for a carotid artery procedure the Specialist that was referred stated that they were given instructions for a heart bypass. It has been several weeks at risk of a stroke and still no referral. Also in reviewing the patient portal notes i see notes like does not adhere to taking medicines and stage 3A liver failure but when I apply for liver research programs they say I don't.

It’s been over a week & I still havnt received my lab results. I was told that he hasn’t reviewed them yet. But yet Quest Labs sent them to me next day. Dr Perossa use to do same. I have several health issues that require lab diagnosis.
Saw him once. Next time having allergy cough. “Not seeing patients with upper respiratory problems. Only virtual”. Two mo later after 4 virtual visits with associates I got rid of cough. Next time they had done dr I did not even know see me. Called yesterday with rash on back “not seeing patients with rashes”. Only virtual I you want to see a dr in person here hope you only have a hangnail!
He is most patient and observant, pay attention to what he says.
An excellent physician. Would highly recommend.
Dr. Perossa shows genuine interest in me when I see him. He listens carefully and never rushes me. He’s knowledgeable. He’s also sent me to excellent specialists when needed. I’d recommend anyone who needs an excellent doctor who will actually listen to you.
