As a southerner visiting NJ, Sergio’s felt like home! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Sergio himself was there and was one of the nicest people I have ever met!!! The food was delicious, fresh, and fast. Hope he opens a location in Charleston one day :)!
Quality has decreased. I ordered the breaded chicken with tomatoe and broccoli rabe sandwich. The chicken was hard as a rock, and both the tomatoe and broccoli rabe had no taste, so I'm assuming they're genetically modified vegetables. Being raised Italian with homemade prepared food, I'm extremely disappointed in Sergio. I won't be stopping in going forward, as there are other establishments within Morris County that prepare sandwiches with organic vegetables for near the same prices Sergio charges. Outstanding Italian deli with much more. Cult following, and with good reason. Sergio was backed by the community with superstorm Sandy flooding, and he is tremendously helpful to the community when purchasing sandwiches for local sports teams. Food is absolutely incredible.
By far, one of the best chicken farm sandwiches I’ve ever had in my entire life
