unfortunately, i changed my nail tech. i was going to G3 nails in Harrisonburg, got a short set, light pink, almond, $45. it was time for a fill in, mind you im was on week 3 so had some lifting and separation at the end of my nail from the tip and overlay. i tell the nail tech which nails had been lifted and how, i was expecting a removal of the lifted nails (to prevent bacteria growth from forming greenies) she proceeded to file them down, i figure to remove the lifted areas and keep the parts that were still attached. she... read more
ive been to this nail salon twice. the first time was an amazing experience, got waxed, barzilian, eyebrows, and underarms. i have a high pain tolerence so it wasnt that big of a deal! i ended up getting a pedicure, the recent revies made it seem like they had corrected the issues from the reviews pervious, so i had assumed nothing would go wrong, got just a basic pedicure with gel. this includes a callous removal. i will say she scrubbed the dead skin off with a spong like object and over the next day or so i had lots of fl... read more
I’m not one to leave many bad reviews. But after hearing great things, I tried out this place - but am disappointed. First, I made a reservation online, only to arrive and be told they don’t take online reservations and you MUST call. The tech doing my pedicure was very rude; I politely confirmed that she was doing a regular pedicure with regular polish, and she said “I know” and proceeded to be short with me the entire time. $118 before tip for my mani-pedi, not awful but also not worth the end result…See photos. I got an acrylic fill done by Mary at serenity nails. This is the best set I’ve ever gotten from serenity and for a good price. Highly recommend Mary to anyone getting acrylics.
