I have been going to serenity for years but I had a terrible and quite frankly disturbing experience at my most recent visit. I was getting a manicure with one of the more seasoned nail technicians and she cut one my cuticles pretty badly. She attempted to stop the bleeding and placed my hand in a bowl of water and beads. The bleeding didn’t stop and the bowl was filled with blood. When the bleeding finally stopped, she asked me wash my hands. I’ve been going to serenity for years and never had a bad experience. Recently the original owner sold serenity to new people. I booked a 9 am pedicure weeks in advance and get a message the night before my appointment that my appointment was rebooked to 9:30 am. I couldn’t do that and was confused why my appointment booked weeks in advance was rescheduled the day before. I call them and they tell me they don’t open at 9:00 am and open at 9:30. Weird. Second time here and everyone is so friendly, never feels rushed or chaotic and the work is excellent! The staff always makes sure to understand what you want and they make suggestions and work hard to make sure you’re satisfied.
