My partner and I stayed here for Labor Day weekend and found the inn to be wonderful. The location was quiet and only steps from the middle of Thames Street. We stayed in room 8 which has gorgeous windows and plenty of space. The on site staff were kind and attentive, especially Ashley! The owner and staff do an excellent job of maintaining the inn. We absolutely loved our stay at the Serenity Inn! The rooms were very comfortable and looked exactly like the photos online. The staff were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. The breakfast each morning was divine, and we appreciated how we could customize our order if we didn’t like the main option. The inn is also in a perfect location! Everything a B&B should be—charming, hospitable and pin-drop quiet! However, some blind spots regarding convenience. Our room, #11, is the largest, but it’s “begging for furniture.” A lack of flat surfaces left us putting our stuff on windowsills and small round tables. We would have liked a dining table and chairs for eating and working on laptops. Only one garbage pail. No refrigerator in the room. Not many vegan options for breakfast.
