They've helped me and so many others, when a woman must flee the home quickly, she has nothing usually. Just clothes on her back. It's a horrible feeling, you often go back home because the fear of the unknown outweighs the threat she knows. It's so dehumanizing, to be bullied because your weaker in strength. The shelter makes you family, pulls you out of the cycle and gives you support to live on your own.
Took a tour of the facility. Was very touched by the feeling of kindness . A true blessing for our area!
