Sandy Eshelman owner of Serenity Homes stole my $15,000 deposit which was suppose to go into an escrow account and went into a private account. Never provided us a home and left us homeless and without a $15,000 deposit for a home. She has done this to over 10 other families. Asked for our money back in November and it is now February with no sight to when I will receive my money and be done with this business. Owes many contractors and suppliers as well. Please stay clear of Serenity Homes, LLC (Sandy Eshelman) we have no home & we're fighting to get our 20k deposit back, along with about 20 other families in the same boat. She continues to make promise after promise & never delivers. We signed a contract with them January 2019 & was expected to go to closing November 2019. Needless to say, no home (never submitted application for permits) & no deposit.

Construction quality is good. Communication is poor. Don’t expect to have your house completed by what it says on the contract. More like a min of 3 months if not more. Builder has too many houses under construction at one time and is spread too thin but is still writing contracts. Very frustrating to deal with all of the excuses and lack of follow through. All of the positive reviews must be from a time when they did not have as many projects and were able to keep up.
