I absolutely adored working with Mandy! Though i unfortunately did not get to labor as long as i had hoped, Mandy was there every step of the way! Leading up to my labor, she was always just a phone call or text away to discuss my questions, concerns, and overall feelings as delivery approached. She offered guidance and tips when needed and was empathetic and listened when i needed to express myself. If you want someone who feels like a friend right from the start, look no further!!
I started working with Mandy rather late in my pregnancy, for both chiropractic care and doula services. She was so accommodating meeting with my husband and I to discuss our birth preferences and answer all the questions we had. We're new to the area with no friends or family nearby, so it was invaluable to have her with us during labor and delivery. As a first time mom, I knew I wanted the extra support for my spouse and myself during pregnancy, labor and delivery. Mandy was so gracious and knowledgeable in helping me prepare a birth plan I was comfortable with and is extremely knowledgeable of the pregnant human body. She even taught my husband how to perform a lot of the counter pressure and support techniques as we got closer to the end of my pregnancy. I worked with Mandy from about week 10 of my pregnancy until the very end. I saw her monthly and then eventually weekly for prenatal chiropractic care and also utilized her as my doula. Being a first time mom during a pandemic had its challenges and we were blessed to have someone with us in the hospital to answer questions and just provide general support. Mandy was such a valuable asset to me for my pregnancy. She was great at sending me resources to feel informed for a better pregnancy than my first. Her chiropractic adjustments were the icing on the cake. Having a baby during covid restrictions was less than ideal, as Mandy couldn’t come to the hospital with us, but she came to our home and made me feel safe and supported until it was time to go to the hospital. I really felt supported by Mandy, and would highly recommend her to anyone considering a doula.
