LONG story short.. these people are money grubbing stuck up and uncaring people. They will make you feel judged and leave you unsupported with little resources of any value. STEER CLEAR! Serenity offered me the redemptive birth experience I hoped for after a difficult first delivery. As a community-based facility for low-risk deliveries, they were transparent from the start about what that meant — including the possibility that, due to some high-risk symptoms in my pregnancy, I may need to transfer to a hospital. I've taken 3 years to decide if I should warn others. This place fails to meet basic prenatal care medical expectations, refuses accountability, makes sure to collect insurance money in full, and then gaslights the mother and blames her if there is any variance from an easy, short, ideal labor and birth that requires no presence, equipment, or skills. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. From the moment I stepped into the office, I knew this was going to be a completely different experience than my first two hospital births. And I was right, it was like entering a whole new world. The way this practice is run should honestly be the standard of care for all women.
