not what I hoped for The spa is difficult to find and in an office building which does seem like a doctor's office. It was nice and the service was OK. I made an appt for a facial and it was like they don't have regular staffing so it was not smooth. Although it was OK I would not rush back, there is much better out there! Excellent! Walking in feels like home, the staff is friendly and helpful. The prices are reasonable and you are treated with the utmost respect and kindness! The manicures are beautiful and the massages are out of this world fabulous! It's at a convient location- its a little bit of paradise right on Bridgeport Ave!
Best Spa Day Ever!! I just had the best spa day ever!!! The massage therapist really cared about my needs. The facial was just was relaxing as the massage and my skin feels excellent. I love the Matis products. And my nails look fabulous. I can't wait to go back! PROS: Very convenient from Rt 8, exit 11, excellent staff & services CONS: Need more signs outside
Quite and Relaxing A very quite, comfy atmosphere. Great friendly knowledgeable staff. Excellent services! Resonable prices Located right off Rt.8 in Shelton. Handicap Accessible. PROS: Quite CONS: They need a bigger sign so people know where they are.
Beautiful Atmosphere This spa is beautiful and you will feel your tensions melt away the minute you walk through the door. Soothing music is playing and the smells are wonderful! Almost like a mixture of lavender and mulberry. The staff is great and will offer you a variety of different packages. I definately recommend the massages that they offer. A little pricey.
Not worth the money I was very disappointed with this "spa". Like other reviews said, it was not a relaxing spa setting, but rather like walking into a doctor's office. There was no relaxation room, no slippers, no robe, no lockers, showers, etc. They were playing Top 40 music which should have been a sign to leave right then. A relaxing spa Serenity is a quaint, relaxing spa. The BEST massage I have ever had. It is a very theraputic and healthing environment. Very reasonably priced for the quality of spa services.
Hidden Treasure As an avid spa enthusiast, Serenity definitely did it for me. However, with no sign on BPT avenue, it was somehwat difficult to find. But, the receptionist was more than willing to guide me down BPT avenue until I safely reached their parking lot. Serenity A Day Spa Rosa at Serenity has become my benchmark by which to measure all other massage therapists! She takes the time to ask what I need and then tailors the treatment to perfection. I am completely relaxed and de-stressed after each appointment with her. The atmosphere is professional and calming. Consider me a full-fledged Rosa and Serenity groupie!
