I have a pretty good FICO. Last week I received a notice that there was a derogatory report in my credit. It was a collection for over $3k. For I do not know what? I never received a notice or anything. It impacted my FICO 41 pts. Now I have write a letter of intent to produce the note. Then I will *** them in small claims court. I Value my good credit and these folks have denied me due process without ever contacting me.

This company has reached out to me and provided information about myself including only information that is public record, in order to ensure I am not being scammed I have requested information such as the agreement between my debtor and sequoia transferring my debt which they were unable to provide, then I was rudely hung up on. After, I have asked for receipts for payment that I have made, which they could not provide, as well as statements showing the total amount I owe has gone down. awful representatives, I was hung up on twice and put on hold for 5 times in one call before being hung up on which was not the first incident of being hung up on, you ask one basic question and they put you on hold instantly. They seem to not want to receive payment. They also threatened to hurt my credit despite not billing the proper bureaus that they were supposed to. overall shady practices. their online make a payment website has no way of confirming your outstanding balance or how much is due...

Sequoia Concepts is duplicitous. This company took a bill that I was not on and added my name, The bill was my husband's medical bill from an emergency room visit. I was not there thus I did not sign any paperwork and was not involved at all. I have no responsibility for his personal debt. This company is trying to ruin my credit rating by listing the debt on my credit at the 3 credit reporting companies. They are fraudulently saying it was a joint account. I have had to deal with Sequoia financial services on 2 separate occasions concerning medical bills and each experience has been awful. The representatives are rude, unprofessional, and not interested in customer satisfaction what so ever. I sent an email concerning my balance and it took them almost a full week to respond with INACCURATE information. I have filed multiple disputes Sent numerous letters certified mailed They recieved every letter every fax They never responded within the time frame with the 35-40 day time frame They never sent proof of my signature Or my authorization They placed multiple accounts that are inaccurate on my credit file and I am demanding that they have it removed it is a violation from FCRA

Sequoia appeared on my credit report. Never heard of them. Never received any notice of a so-called debit to the City of La Verne, a place I haven't lived in for over six years. Right off the top I'm suspicious. Any collection agency that doesn't send the required information/documentation for proper dispute of an alleged debt prior to collection action on a credit report is suspect, at the very least. Going to be very interesting.
