Inadequate Assistance First time ever bringing items to a shop to sell on consignment.Brought in the items and a young lady took them out of the garment bag.....stepped all over the bottom of the dresses (2 formals) and hung them on a short rack. Did not acknowledge me in any way.So I thought I needed to wait for them to be checked in. Was told to sign the form on the counter and fill out some small slip which included my name etc.... Great Selection I have recently brought my fall items in to Sequels and was very impressed with the selection of clothing and accessories. The store does not feel like a typical second hand store. The staff was very friendly and eager to help. They had a huge variety of new purses and I had a very hard time figuring out which one I wanted, they were all so fun! Amazing As an avid resale shopper I shop resale everywhere. This is my favorite store yet! So cute and organized! Love my purchases! Also...the items I consigned allowed my to get new school clothes for my kids this year. LOVE IT!
seller beware I have dropped off clothing--they have verbally acknowledged accepting items--and I have returned to that some items brought in were not on the printout for my account. Be sure to wait for a printed read out of what you have left. Also, clothes sometimes disappear from their racks. This has happened with items I have brought in. This is a somewhat sleazy store. Best to avoid it altogether.
Hmmmmm...... I have taken things here in the past and too have had items disappear off the rack with no explanation but really didn't think too much of it. After reading the reviews today I plan on going through the 4 bags I'm taking in and pulling out a few things that I don't want to risk being "stolen" or sold without any proof. I hope the owner and ladies at this store are aware of these reviews so that they may fix the problem and their reputation.
resale shop sequels is an awesome 2nd hand store they have everything form clothes(kids mens and womens) and furniture and decorations, this is a must stop store they are very inexpensive and are in a good location easy to find, they have a good size store and are very helpful
ABSOLUTELY the best resale store ever! WOW, what can I say about this store? Michelle (the owner) should teach a course in customer satisfaction! She is what we all look for in an owner- classy, generous, business savvy, and just plain ole nice. :-) Her store has the nicest clothes and you don't have to break the bank to shop there. Excellent prices, great accessories, fashionable clothes and sizes from babies to plus. DEFINITELY a must when it comes to your shopping!
Great variety and selection! Sequels has been a must stop shopping source for clothes for many years. The staff are warm and friendly. The selection of clothing, season to season is great, as is the quality of the clothing they choose to accept. Womens, mens, kids clothing, they have it all- accesories too! The prices are terrific as well, and occaisionally, they have additional savings during special sales.
The BEST resale store ever~ Sequels is absolutely wonderful! Their selection is second-to-none and Michelle (the owner) is the nicest person ever. She treats her customers and consigners like GOLD! She has been known to send flowers for no reason. What an asset to this community.
