I had Melissa today as my consultant. I asked for full face, natural, good for daytime business that I could take into evening events as needed with a bit of extra layering. I was worried I'd get someone with no appreciation for challenges related to skin colours, age, stage of life (hello hot flashes lol), and etc. Melissa asked good questions and did a great job of teaching as she went - something I needed. i got my birthday gift at sephora yesterday and did not like the color at all on me. so i went back today to ask to exchange it because im never going to wear it and its supposed to be my birthday gift. they said they couldn’t which is really disappointing because im never going to use this lip color and is probably going to end up in the garbage. i just wish they could’ve gave me something instead of saying no.
