Went to the Sephora at Upper Canada Mall and was treated horrifically. I went in looking for a foundation and everyone was busy. So I went up to an associate that was standing there doing absolutely nothing. I asked her if she could help me with a colour match. She turned around abruptly and said I am BUSY doing something. Came to purchase 2 specific products. A girl at the entrance asked what I'm looking for. As soon as I showed her the screenshots of both items, she called her colleague to bring us to the products and give us. I was in and out of the store in less than 10 minutes. As I was cashing out, the manager advised me to register an account and gave me a sample. Everyone was very knowledgeable, professional and polite. The staff at this Sephora were lovely. I had a few different girls approach me to ask if I needed help and all of them were kind and pleasant to deal with. If this was the store closer to my house, I would shop in store more often. Much better than either of the Barrie locations!
Horrible experience at this location. Went into Sephora with a friend and had a really uncomfortable experience. The security guard kept following us around even though we were just browsing, I understand that the security guard is there to prevent shoplifting, but the way the guard followed us around was unnecessary and very obvious, which made the whole experience uncomfortable and awkward. Such a creepy and extremely disappointing experience from Sephora. I came in to get my birthday freebie with my friend and I decided to look around first and we kept getting followed by the security guard. He was indian man and made it very known that he was following us. We did nothing wrong and felt seriously harassed and so uncomfortable!!
