I’ve been a Sephora customer for years. I moved to the Folsom area a couple years ago. Honestly, the customer service at this particular location is so bad. The manager is always so rude. She looks at you as if she hates you when she doesn’t even know you. She starts off nice until you ask for help or say you don’t need help. Either way she’s rude. Today was the second time we opened a brand new Sephora gift card for $100 in front of the cashier and she said there was only $3 on a $100 gift card left to use. In the history of gift cards SEPHORA is the ONLY merchant who does not honor their gift cards. They couldn’t tell me how the money was spent, just that it must be fraud. Curious the manager knew just what to tell me, as she has dealt with this before. I will never purchase a SEPHORA gift cards again.

I just wanted a color match to purchase some foundation from this store. The associate would not match me unless I gave my information to sign up. She harassed me multiple times to sign up. Ulta doesn't require a sign up to be matched to spend $ in the store. Will stay with Ulta.
