East side storage units have water flowing through them in the winter/spring. I had an inch of ice on the ground with water actively flowing through my unit. Storage should be a place where your belongings stay SAFE from environmental damage such as this. Ensure that you have insurance on your unit but more specifically FLOOD insurance. I did not have flood insurance added and was out hundreds of dollars due to damage incurred by the water in my unit.
