I've had some pretty bad experiences with property managers in the past, especially when I lived in Florida, that have made me afraid to even mention having apartment problems. Sentry took over management at my apartment building about 6 months ago. Since then all of our requests have finally been fixed. They actually pick up the phone which is a breath of fresh air in Boston to say the least.
Apartment 22 at 20 colborne road has no water pressure whatsoever and the appliances look like they were installed in the 1950s. Sentry claims some other company (Brooke) manages that building but I wrote my rent checks to Sentry from January 2020 to August 2022. Maybe they recently sold it but for the two years that I lived there and it was a hell hole it was managed by Sentry.
I had a very good experience with this company. Any issue with my apartment was solved almost the same day! I've lived in Boston for 5 years and have had three different landlords. Sentry was by far the most professional and responsive!
