Made an appointment so I wouldn’t have my child miserably waiting in a waiting room just to still be sitting way beyond my appointment. No point in making an appointment smh
I went to Sentara urgent care at 6:20pm and they didn’t close until 8pm. I walked in and NO ONE was in the lobby and maybe 4 cars in the parking lot. The lady at the front desk turned me away because they were “busy all day” and stated they had “slot” times (whatever that means). I find it highly ridiculous and super rude that they turned me away when they still had over an hour and a half before they closed. I was in severe pain and they didn’t seem to care what so ever.
What a wonderful experience! I was able to schedule an appointment online for husband and we walked right in to be seen. The MA took us right back and before he was even done with vitals, the PA came in for his procedure. We were in and out in less than 30 mins! I would highly recommend this urgent care. Thank you staff for your top notch patient care!
The online system for booking an appt is completely useless. I knew it was going to take me 45 min to an hour, so I booked it online and even checked in online, only to be told I had an hour wait as a walk in when I arrived. Oh and I had to sign the same paperwork that I had to sign online. I also received updates showing I was #3 in line and then another update that I was #2 in line and if I didn't arrive by 6:04 pm then I would lose my place in line.
