I had surgery on my left thumb in June 2025 and the same surgery on my right thumb in February 2026. After each surgery I needed many sessions of therapy to regain range of motion and strength to be able to use my hand again. My therapist after both surgeries, Teresa Mata, did a great job of explaining things to me and guiding my recovery, and on top of that, she’s a lovely person to spend a half hour with a couple of times a week for several months. Everyone at the reception desk was always friendly and courteous as well.

Great team of therapists and staff. It has improved over the past few years. Keep up the good work.

Therapist are great but the office staff always seems to have an attitude. Don't know why but can't get them to answer a phone call. It always goes to voicemail but when you walk in only half the staff are working and the other half is just goofing off.

My Fiance took his therapy here. He had the most amazing therapist here. Thank you so much to Misty & Ian Carter. They both were very caring and thoughtful and I highly suggest if you ever need therapy to seek them. They both are excellent at what they do and are very knowledgeable in their field. Thanks again for what you both do and please never leave Sentara. Carmen
