The Sentara Billing rep has no knowledge about any other aspect of the Sentara systems and could not even direct me anywhere for support. Useless.
I rarely have a bad encounter when I visit any of the Sentara facilities. If I'm not sure what the office visit will cost I simply call or google my insurance company myself.
I asked the clerk behind the desk to run my insurance to let me know cost upfront before services were preformed. I was assured the cost would be below "x" and I got a bill for double. When I called to explain how I felt mislead and cheated, I was offered a payment plan... Basically I was cheated by an employee of sentara and sentara corp and stuck with the bill in full. **** PATIENTS BEWARE ***
