Went to the emergency room because of chills and pains. In there for 6 hrs just to be sent home with no information on my condition. Was told to call in for lab results. Next day called in and was told the results were not back. 48 hrs later called again and was told the same. Later on I get an email telling me to my results were in to check that stupid app they're trying to force everyone to use. I don't have access to the app so I called in like I did before and was told they could not give out information over the phone. ... read more

I understand Mondays in the ER. I understand having to wait long periods for things like CT scans because we get pushed back later due to unexpected trauma patients. What I don’t understand is the total and complete inability on the part of healthcare workers to simply stop for one minute to give an update or an encouraging word to the patients they are supposed to be caring for.
