BROOKS, M.D., ER Doctor at Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital A special thank you to Dr. Brooks, who graciously sat by while my son was vomiting, dehydrated, and in clear distress—only to leave us in a room for three hours without ever coming in to evaluate him. No IV for hydration, no medication for his fever, no examination—nothing. Meanwhile, the staff sat around chatting while my child suffered.
