Surgery went well. Family was kept well informed. Everything went very well.
UPDATE: I have hip replacement surgery scheduled to occur on the 26th of this month, and have been having issues getting in there prior to my surgery. First time I inquired about it, I found out at 4 pm that I had to be there at 8:30 am the next morning for a 9:00 am appointment. Had to cancel because I had no way of getting in because my Jeep was in the shop. The last thing I need to have happening is for someone to be jerking my chain when I am anxiously waiting for mandatory hip replacement!! Received a call from Sentara ... read more

I have had 12 surgeries in my lifetime this hospital and this surgical team that I experienced yesterday by Dr. Marshall I had a total hip replacement on my left hip was the most magnificent surgery I have ever had the trusting team of anesthesia the nurses in preop the PT personnel in Physical therapy I had a turkey sandwich and a bag of chips and a soda waiting for me when I got to Physical therapy.
