Never had anything but wonderful staff, clean facilities, wait time minimum, love coming here for my labs and mammogram.
Long waiting time despite coming in 45mins before the scheduled appointment. Waited for an hour before called in. When I got inside the room, the tech was asking me questions about my medical history but was giving a different vibe to me as she was smirking & smiling when I was elaborating my medical problem. I was offended.. No bedside manners or professionalism at all, so unacceptable. Sentara is deceitful when giving estimates on procedures. What I was quoted was triple when I received my bill. I was not told that this facility bills through the hospital. It is a free standing facility not connected to the hospital. I did not see any signs in the facility that states the health complex bills through the hospital. I did not sign any paperwork that states the procedures are bill through the hospital either. My insurance pointed out these facts and nothing was resolved. I was left with a significant bill. Sentara seems very disorganized. I should have been notified that my labs were supposedly 'expired' and was told I had 6 months from April to do a urine test. The appointment made online should have been flagged if there was something out of the ordinary. The front desk were looking at me confused and had the old paper work from February which was already done. I was told to get a new urine sample from April and I finally had the time to get the sample only to be told that there was no labs apparently. They were telling me t... read more
The front desk staff were all professional and polite! They were kind and engaging . Sierra was friendly and helpful. It was such a smooth process for checking into your appointment 💖
