The PT provider I saw here was argumentative at every appointment I had. I have a healing broken wrist that my Orthopedic surgeon has very plainly said to not put any weight or strain on. However, this PT was wanting me to do resistant band exercises with that broken wrist. I told him my DR has forbidden me to do that type of thing with it. Instead of just saying "lets stop until I have time to confirm with your Dr if it's ok or not OK." I have a condition that requires me to keep up with physical therapy on my own and periodically check in for more care--so I've seen a lot of PTs. My PT at Sentara has been the most knowledgeable I've ever worked with, thorough and compassionate. I'm grateful to have found a place I know I can go back for quality care any time I need it in the future.

Sadly, they rarely answer phones! It’s quite disappointing for a medical provider to be like that.
