Sensory Play has been very helpful to our son and to us as parents. We started in the summer with intensive (4x/week) sessions. We also had lunch dates to help with feeding and we continue to work through some challenges with sensory processing and coordination. The best thing is that our son just has a great time, is so happy there and is not even aware that this is "therapy".

Shuli is a highly skilled occupational therapist who uses a wholistic and personalized approach that has worked wonders for our son since he started pre-K at 4 years old. Within the first three months at Sensory Play, he made progress in expanding his sensory tolerance, building his strength, and increasing his focus. When he first started, he was cautious about slides, swings, ladders, and certain textures. Now he enjoys slides and climbing. And he is more open to trying new things each session. It's an experience he's exci... read more

My child loves getting therapy both in-person at Sensory Play's OT gym as well as online with Neuronet app and other methods. He has made great progress with handwriting, self-regulation and attending among other goals. The team at Sensory Play is excellent. My only regret is that I did not start sooner. He has been getting help from the highly skilled and caring staff for a year now. He is now 8 years old and quickly learned how to tie his shoe laces last year from Shuli. He was afraid to play on the swings prior to Therapy... read more

As a therapist, working with children with special needs, I needed a therapist who specializes in how to regulate a child's sensory nervous system. For the pass few months I have been working side by side with Shula Spivak and have seen great progress in my clients overall development across all domains. He started off being afraid of movements to climb, go down slides, going on swings and now he is able to handle climbing up high ladders with no help, sliding down high slides with no fear, going on different types of swings... read more

When we first arrived to Sensory Play my 2.5 year old would barely eat anything. Now she eats tons and her weight has increased. I am so thankful to Shuli for all that she has done for my daughter, she has techniques and strategies I would have never thought of and wasn't getting from any research I was doing online. She really looks at the child and sees what is going on and has a way of getting the child excited about food again and eating. Going from having a child that was dehydrated and extremely picky to now excited ab... read more
