At first, I thought the presentation when we walked in was nice. The place was pretty much empty, and the service started off okay. However, the food took quite a while to come out. When it finally arrived, it was disappointing. The carne asada was overcooked, dry, and barely seasoned. We recently had a graduation party at Señor Frog’s and had such a fun experience. The atmosphere was energetic and perfect for celebrating such a special occasion. Ariana was our party coordinator and she was amazing, she met me there the morning of the event and even offered to help with decorating, which I really appreciated. This was honestly one of the most disappointing restaurant experiences I’ve ever had. I’m not particularly concerned with whether a restaurant is authentic Mexican or not, but the food simply wasn’t good. We ordered nachos and grilled chicken tacos, and neither was enjoyable. The nachos arrived as soggy chips sitting in a pool of liquid, and the tacos were even worse. The chicken had an odd texture and flavor that barely resembled chicken. Honestly I have nothing good to say, because why is there an UNDISCLOSED 20% charge? It doesn’t show on the ticket while paying, you have to ask for a printed receipt to see the 20%, upon what we had already tipped because we didn’t know. Service wasn’t very attentive either. We received the largest beer size with asking what size we wanted , $11 beer, we didn’t want that. Atmosphere was great food was not that great but the atmosphere was off the chain and I mean the food was okay but that's it it was just okay but the atmosphere and the service was 100%.
