I was very happy with SWH until January when they suddenly stopped covering the same prescriptions I was on for years. Now I have to get prior approvals for everything leaving me short at times. They also changed hospitals and I now have to travel 20 miles away, ( of course for emergencies I can go local but if I'm admitted I would have to transfer)!
I have never had a bad experience with SWH. Customer service, nurses all are very accommodating, A+
The absolute worse insurance I've ever had to deal with in my life. When my mom only had masshealth and Medicare she was NEVER in need of anything and had a much better quality of life. Now she has NOTHING and we spend so much on necessary supplies out of pocket. DO NOT GET NE STARTED ON THEIR TRANSPORTATION. ABSOLUTE WORST. Mom has a stage 4 wound and hasn't been able to go to her wound care appointments because they can't guarantee a stretcher ... she's disabled ... what's the point in making a transport appointment if the... read more
