I am writing you this morning to let you know that Joanne was very very helpful, going above and beyond to explain every detail to the fullest. My mother is a dementia patient and I needed to apply for Medicaid for her with absolutely no knowledge of the process. Hi my name is Kim I live in Smithtown NY. I turned 65 in Nov. and my head has been full so much info going on to Medicare and trying to get Medicaid. I read I googled I called hardly anyone called back. I called Senior Soultions of Long Island a messenger answered and told me someone would call back. If you like fast talking, confusing information explained to you in terms you won't understand, being scolded for helping your senior mother manage and pay bills ...and letting you know ONLY they can get your application successfully approved by medicaid (? really? ) Then this would be your go to source for Medicaid assistant. Wasted 3 hrs of my time paid $350 for a fast talking no real concrete informational consult and left with some paperwork *They only use snail mail.. no email and the paperwork Joann handed me was a NYS... read more
