My mother in law has dementia. We are tying to add a room in our home so we can care for her. In the meantime we hired Senior Helpers to go to her home during the day and gave them detailed instructions on what to do when there. We keep her medication, as well as a few other things we don't want her to have access to, in a locked cabinet. We gave SH the code to the cabinet in case they needed to get in, and we let them know she is not allowed in it.
