I was first seen by Dr. Baptiste 21 years ago in upstate New York. Previously I had mentioned to another doctor that I was falling for no apparent reason. She ignored what I said and so did I. Months later I saw Dr. Baptiste and raised the same concern. She left the room immediately and returned with a referral to a spinal surgeon. Unbeknownst to me, I had 5 compressed vertebrae in my neck. They didn’t have answers nor wasn’t interested in my recent hospitalization and didn’t check my bruises or swelling. I’m still afloat as to what to do.
