Chicken fried steak was good but they ran out of gravy and forgot to bring my wife her green beans. But they did bring us a dessert for four for free. All is forgiven
We ate from the banquet style buffet & it was amazing!! Service was stellar, what a wonderful gem!

The beautiful go to location in Fayette county Texas. They have amazing food available for lunch and supper during the week. If you need a location for an event large or small take a look here, 2 story 100 plus year old building in beautiful Schulenburg Texas.
If you are passing from Houston to San Antonio, or the other way around, then make a midway stop at Sengelmann Hall in Schulenburg. You will not be disappointed. Their bar serves up some of the best drinks in South Texas and the food is great “stick to your ribs.” Do not miss this place.
