Important Information – I have learned from frequenting this restaurant that if you order rolls off the menu, the quality is 10X better. DO NOT go for the all you can eat, because they will not give you the same quality, especially if you have a huge party. All the bad reviews are from people who have ordered all you can eat...not a coincidence.
Falling apart – Me and my brother used to love this place. About six months ago you could tell the place was not doing as well and so they started to do a lunch buffett for 12.95. You really cant beat that deal for all you can eat sushi. Anyways, We went there about a month ago and were very dissapointed with the place. Super Sushi – Sendai sushi is great! We had the all you can eat $20 deal. The variety of sushi was awesome. We enjoyed being able to order 1/2 rolls so we could taste a new roll. You can also order from the teppanyaki grill. The deal also includes desert and non alchoholic beverages.
All you can eat Rice!!! Sushi so thin you could shave with it!!! Do not recommend! – I gave Sendai Sushi three tries. The last time 3/9/08 was the worst. I ordered sushi and the salmon was cut so thin and the rice underneath was like a compacted heavy ball or rice, you could not even taste the fish. Sushi to die for! – We're sushi addicts, and this is the best place we've found, local or otherwise. We go at least once every couple of months. The service is excellent; the entire staff is so friendly. They ALL shout "bye-bye!" as you leave (cooks, waitresses, everyone!) The sushi is the best we've ever tasted. Huge variety, and you can watch them prepare it. Mmm, now my mouth is watering...
Delicious buffet, Great value for money. – My husband and I paid a visit to Sendai on Feb 11 to try their all-you-can-eat buffet and the food was wonderful! It was great value (only 19.95 per person for all the rolls and nigiri you want, although some types of sushi were restricted to one order - understandable because of cost) and the sushi was fresh, the rolls were interesting and inventive. We plan to make our next trip soon.
Japanese fast food! – The restaurant has good service; my wife and I were seated promptly. Although the waitress did not speak english that well, she was able to take our order quickly and get it to the table proptly. The food was not bad but it's more like Japanese fast food. I have to say it's not the best but it's good suishi for the price and on Sunday they have an all you can eat buffet at a very reasonable price.
A Weekly Favorite – My husband and I eat at Sendai at least once a week. The sushi is fresh and delicious and a great value. Plus the chefs and wait staff are very friendly. They have an all-you-can-eat deal on the weekends which is quite popular. We've tried several other sushi restaurants in town and always return here. Highly recommended!

When we got there to pick it up, it took them another 1hour and 30 minutes to get us our food because they "missed' our order. The only thing they could do for us was say they were sorry and sent us on our way. On top of that, the hostess could not communicate in English too well.
