Great time as always yesterday playing Seminole Lake! No bunkers, no water balls, it was a fabulous day!
We were a 3-some paired with a nice 4th. 8:30 tee time but no starter or ranger to be seen so the group in front of us with 8:22 tee times didn't tee off until 8:35. And of course they were extremely slow (line up putt, mark, line up again, putt, mark again, etc) which backed up everyone. Beautiful bald eagle pair playing overhead helped but slow play killed the round. Course was okay, chewed up in many areas, green fast but badly marked up! Don't golfers repair ball marks anymore??
We always go to Seminole when we come to St Pete's. Great hospitality , great food and challenging but fair course
Greens were in excellent shape! From NJ and my son and I were with a buddy who lives nearby, so this was the first time we've played here. Some repair work being done, which is understandable. My son had Nike rental clubs that he loved!! Our deal included lunch..for the price, we got a great deal. Hopefully will get back down in the future to play here again!! Thanks again!
Great course. Yes the fairways are being worked on here and there but never gave us trouble a all. The greens are just awesome! Will be playing this course a lot in the future.
The course was in very bad condition. They claimed they had a major water issue, and about 20-30% of the fairways were under repair. On top of that we played just after the greens had been aerated and were not ready to be played.
