My grandma was in this facility for Memory Care. They were caught not waking her up to eat, they would let her sleep through every dinner that she was already asleep... They also weren't brushing her teeth, so she got very bad thrush and couldn't swallow. They wouldn't react quickly enough to treat it, nor would they let her family administer antibiotics we procured from her GP. Worked here for a little bit to get my career started and live a bit out and I had to call off for two days because my car was broke down and had no other way to work and I gave them a 2 day notice that I wouldn’t be able to make it. I came in and worked for 20 mins before they told me I was fired they didn’t call me or email me. You will be micro managed here. The residents are not getting the care they need. This is an excellent facility, the best I have ever seen. Caring staff and a lot of them. Residents are happy and involved with activities. I just moved my father here from a different facility and he couldn't be happier. If you are considering assisted living for a loved one, please check out Sem Haven. You will be very happy and impressed with this facility. UPDATE: My father passed in December after residing at SEM Haven for five years. The people that work here are so rude, it's a lot of Chris and not enough indians. Warning to anyone that is thinking about applying here in the future or that do clinicals here's. Would give no stars if I could.
