Just don't. If this review keeps just one person from losing time and money to Jeff Thames and his crew of lying imbeciles, it will have been time well spent. 8/14/16: My transmission broke down in downtown San Antonio. I was visiting from Las Cruces, NM. It was Sunday in a strange city far from home. I called a few places with 24/7 towing and Gary from Select Transmission was the first to get back to me. Don't take your car there they say free tow and check but don't be fooled. They use that to get you in and but when you don't like there price ,they say there's a 95.00 tow after they say on the phone there will be no charge if you take it elsewhere save yourself time and money don't call them there receptionist can't be trusted

Outstanding Service – All the reviews about this shop proved to be true. We have a Pacifica that we have had a consistant problem with. It has been in 4 shops one being the dealership and they could not find the problem. They did however misdiagnose and have us do many unnecessary repairs that cost us over 1200.00. I called Select to see how much it would cost to look at it since all the other shops had charged me a fee. Jeff said no charge bring it in. Beyond the call of duty!! – This was my first time to have to get MAJOR repairs done on my vehicle. I was referred by a good friend and I'm SO glad I listened. The guys here are so helpful and thorough. They went above and beyond what they had to do and saved me A LOT of money. They are honest and patient and didn't try to gouge me so that they could make more money. YOU SAVED MY KID'S CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!! – This is my second time dealing with this shop...it was so great with my husband's vehicle that I decided to bring mine it. The guys there are wonderful. Real family people who believe in taking care of their customers. Good Service, Good Payment Plan – Select Transmissions did my a favor by setting up a payment plan for my honda accord. They let me get it fixed and pay a down payment and make monethly payments. I didnt have all the money to get it fixed right away, so they helped me. It was really cool of them.

Very Happy With The Service – I want to point out that I have not had any repair service completed here at Select yet, but I talked to the service guy on the phone and was told that the check up was free. They checked my car, found the problem and did not charge me to check it. They were nice and polite and put everything in writing.

Select Transmission San Antonio is AWESOME!! – So a national chain shop told me that my transmission was shot, but they didnt know how bad it was. It was going to cost me $700 bucks to figure it out. I looked for some other shops to give me a second opinion and I ended up at Select because Jeff told me he would give a totally free diagnostic and a totally free written estimate. A Great Shop, Great Job and Excellent People – Pretty Decent People‎‎ Here at Select Transmission. I took my Honda Accord to Select Transmission thinking that I was gonna be broke by the time that I got it fixed. I was wrong. They fixed some electrical thing and changed the fluid and poof, my work was working like it should. They advised me of some upcoming maintenance items I should take care of as well. Good guys, highly recommended.
