Specialty Hosptial at St. Elizabeth Youngstown is horrible. I waited 40 minutes on a call light. Room was dirty and the staff had filthy mouths. Went to select boardman and it was a breath of fresh air
It has taken years for me to be able to write this. My husband was in a terrible crash and was moved to SSH after being in trauma ICU for weeks. He had never really regained consciousness after the crash. He'd open his eyes but couldn't focus, communicate in any way, he had a feeding tube, etc. His condition changed after he'd been there for a week or two. Terrible was there 2 weeks got my room cleaned twice i scrubbed it myself case manager n a couple drs wow terrible they don't care bout nothing the food is so bad if wasnt sick wen u got there u will b bfore u leave worse experience of my life they don't tell u the truth about anything it was just bad
I had a wonderful experience at Select Specialty Youngstown. The nurses were great, physical therapists were great, respiratory therapists also. The aides were wonderful especially Patrice, Meredith. Toni, Miss G. I have never received such exemplary care. I had already spent one month in Mercy Health and received great care in ICU but terrible care on the heart floor.
