We were a private caregiver team spending 24/7 with a patient being treated for wound care in a special sand bed, and physical rehabilitation. From a night shift point of view, the respiratory staff who took care of her while she was on the ventilator were outstanding. The nursing staff, most left much to be desired. The respiratory therapist on day shift was truly awful, rude, and disrespectful. It’s been a long time since I’ve come across such unprofessional professionals.
