We were a private caregiver team spending 24/7 with a patient being treated for wound care in a special sand bed, and physical rehabilitation. From a night shift point of view, the respiratory staff who took care of her while she was on the ventilator were outstanding. The nursing staff, most left much to be desired. The respiratory therapist on day shift was truly awful, rude, and disrespectful. It’s been a long time since I’ve come across such unprofessional professionals. Rated a 0, No I do not recommend Select Specialty. I recommend you go elsewhere. Mandatory classes for listening, compassion, empathy, communication and over all human kindness! Poor staffing is a recipe for organizational stagnation and decline! Toxic management creates a toxic workplace that no one wants to be a part of! Stop using temporary services.
