They were great with my dad! Great PT, Speech, Dr's and staff! Highly recommend!
It's been 3 years since my hospital stay. My rehab progress has been long and hard but started on that floor, in that hospital. They helped save my life. When family would leave and it was bedtime, I was afraid. My nurse would stay with me until I fell asleep on really anxious nights. Respiratory care is top notch. Food always arrived at the same time and it was great, especially for "hospital " food! They were all working together as a team, so I never knew exactly who would show up when I rang the bell. 10/10 Select Rehab (4th floor) ABSOLUTELY AMAZING each and EVERY staff member when you call to check on a loved one you can hear the SMILE in their voice! They ALL are very FRIENDLY,FAST,GREAT,PROACTIVE,HONEST,HARDWORKING,EMPATHETIC,CARING,COMPASSIONATE,AND MOST IMPORTANTLY HANDS ON AND VERY WELL ATTENTIVE I walked in their were staff everywhere smiling and waiting to assist in anyway they could they reassured my aunt as much as they could GREAT GREAT FLOOR AGAIN I CANT SAY ENOUGH SUCH WONDERFUL PEOPLE!!!!!!
I made a "Bad Mistake". I thought I was on the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center site when I wrote a review of Ephraim McDowell. Instead I was on this site (Select Specialty Hospital). I hope that my mistake has not influenced any decision you may have made about what hospital to go to. I have never been to any of Select Specialty Hospital, hospitals. Again, I’m sorry for my mistake.
The staff are great!!! It's the rules that Corporate makes the staff work under that makes it a lousy hospital. I got a hangnail and need a pair of finger nail clippers to cut it off, so I asked a nurse if I could borrow a pair. No, you might hurt/kill yourself with them. Well then can you trim it for me? No, because I could hurt/kill you too. If you don't want it to hang on something, then you can put something on/around it to protect it. Well, can you bring me a bandaid? No, for the same reasons.
