I’m writing on behalf of my father who wasa recent patient there in the last 30 days. He asked for me to write about the wound care ladies who provided exceptional care for his wounds. He said they were nice kept him laughing even when he was feeling down. He even said that the Nurse Caroline looked like one of our family members and he knew he was going to be in good hands. Thank you wound care ladies for all you have done for my father. Keep up the good work!

An excellent place for the Medicare Fraud Department to visit and review how they market themselves to vulnerable families dealing with tragic circumstances. The case manager assured us that my father would receive stroke rehabilitation therapy and have the depth of Duke Healthcare team of doctors to draw from. This was not true. We could only see a staff doctor. The facility is primatively equipped, grossly understaffed the management questionable. I agree with you. Never let your loved ones go to this place--unless of course you want to get rid of them. Oh, yeah they will get you off the ventilator. DEAD OR ALIVE. With my loved one it was DEAD!!! I have pictures of the monitor where her heart rate was 150- 170 And I could not get a nurse to come into her room. Then I learned they had cut back on her medication. What kind of hospital cuts a patient's meds because a respiratory therapist tells them to. That should be the doctors call.
