RecommendedI was a patient at Select Durham for over a month. I was treated with respect from all the staff. They were concerned about my overall physical and mental well being while I was on a ventilator. They made me comfortable and got me back on my feet. Although I could not have visitors during the Covid 19 time, they made sure I could be in contact with my family via phone calls and even facetime on their iPad. My son came to this facility requiring highly skilled care. His recovery was never compromised. We as a family were treated with respect and dignity. The concerning kindness and demor came all the way from the Janitor, Housekeeping, Front Desk Staff, the Nurses,Chief of Nursing,diligent Doctors all the way up to the CEO. We will always be grateful and we will miss everyone that participated on our difficult journey ! I highly recommend this facility.
I was a patient at Select Durham May thru July 2019. I came there after a terrible car accident. I was on a ventilator with very high vent settings. The staff there were able to work with me to lower my numbers to the point that I eventually made it off the vent during the day. It as so great being able to talk again and eat! The staff there pushed me to succeed. The Respiratory Therapists and Rehab staff was awesome. I highly recommend this place!

I've been a patient here since July 23 2018 & I've found the staff & nurses very pleasant patient & knowledgeable. I have no complaints & would recommend this facility to anyone I know. Outstanding outstanding outstanding.
This horrid place did not feed or give my husband any fluids in the 4 days he was there. He became severely dehydrated, had a seizure which I was not advised about when it happened. I had to BEG the nurses to take his temperature which was 101 under the arm. Nurse then said he GUESSED he could give him Tynanol. The QUACK that refused to feed him (he had a feeding tube inserted at WakeMed) kept saying he needed to talk to a nutritionists but never bothered to call one! Husband lost 20+ lbs.
