First of all, without going into a long sordid story, I am just 53 however, I have been in and out of therapy since I was in my early 20’s. I just offer that to say I do have a wee bit of experience. Dr. Karen McCurry treated me during a very transitional (career, location, relationship change) and difficult part of my late 20s and early 30s. I was changing careers, just becoming aware of my diagnosis and was trying to best navigate how to build the skills I needed to truly excel in my life the way I desired. I've been seeing Dr. Karen for about 8 years now. She has been an incredible source of support through major life challenges and trauma. She has played a major role in helping me develop the skills and fortitude needed to overcome some heavy seasons of life and achieve my goals.
