A few years ago, I was lucky to stumble upon a rental posted by Select Property Management in Chico. I received a response from Kim, who understood my situation and was very helpful. Kim black is a wonderful part of this company and should be praised! Im so thankful to have such a wonderful property manager! Our rentals refrigerator died on us the other night and we had a lot of stored breastmilk in the freezer and kim was able to get us a replacement refrigerator 2 days later (mind you there were some super easy hoops that I had to jump through on my own part but as a father of a 8 month old child I was gunna jump through any i needed to)! Kim Black is a scammer. She tried to scam us out of money before we began renting there and not surprisingly again at the end of our rental term. In the beginning she tried to make us pay a whole months rent plus the deposit but we were moving in the middle of the month and it should have been prorated. She agreed to prorate it however it speaks volumes that she knew that’s what should have been done but tried to take extra money anyway.
