SPS has the worst service. During a recent process to modify my mortgage, their underwriters did not understand that foreign money has to be converted to US currency when it arrives in the US. Even people without training in their field know that much.
Paid mortgage as usual due April 1st for month of April 2020. April 30th, clicked on Covid-19 90 day relief as having difficulties paying bills. Never received paper mortgage bill due May 1st so called to verify address (moved recently) and ask terms for payment on Covid-19 relief ( no info given on website). I assumed May, June, July were my 3 months. NO! They told me APRIL (which I paid 3/28 before 4/1 to be on time), MAY, and JUNE. Only 60 day relief...not 90. get better smarter more professional people. be more helpful change the attitude.get more organized and get a better person in charge. try servicing and helping your customers more. stop being so robotic , care a little.try to go the extra mile for your customers. have a better work philosophy customers are king.
My mortgage was recently sold to Select Portfolio. Chase Mortgage had done something to me so horrible that I can't even begin to describe how horrible it was. Now my mortgage is sold to Select Portfolio and I find out quickly they also have no care about their customers. I'm going to refinance my mortgage with another company. But not before I use the huge database that I have at my disposal to let thousands of people know to stay away from Select Portfolio. I do not recommend them. They are predators
What, if anything are people doing about them? I have not met anyone with anything positive to say.
I have no idea how to tell the president but mortgage companies act like they are helping but they are not - stopping 3 months of payments and then wanting it all the 4th month does not help. When i first called they told me the end of the loan then i get a letter telling me due in July. Many people are dealing with the same thing it is just terrible. (corvid 19)
