They are refusing to pay property taxes from escrow account. Been dealing with this for over a year.
My mom suddenly passed away, when I called to tell them I plan on selling the property they wouldn’t speak with me because I wasn’t in the loan. They never tried to reach out to me or my dead mom to inquire about the past due mortgage payments. No mail Correspondence, nothing. Select Portfolio took over my mortgage from Selene Finance on July 29. My mortgage payment went up $264.00. No one can explain the reason.
California law says they have to release title of my mobile home to escrow for me to sell my home. @Select Portfolio Servicing doesn't feel like doing that. So I'm now essentially homeless, animals are being boarded and my husband's Etsy store is on hiatus because he has nowhere to work. They actually thought I was trying to do a partial release of property telling me I had to get their approval to sell my home. Customer service is a joke, they know nothing. Worst servicing company ever, wish I had a choice, these crooks aquired my account from HSBC.. Select Portfolio & HSBC you should be ashamed of yourselves for taking advantage of consumers. You both should get out of the mortgage business all together!
My mortgage was sold to them at the beginning of the year and it has been nonstop problems with my payments. When I was first sold to them, when I paid my mortgage payments were applied same day they receive them. I send them via my banks bill pay which is listed as same day by my bank since SPS agrees to receive them as such. Now my last three payments aren’t applied until days later and I send multiple messages demanding they post my payments. Mail the statements out so you actually receive them before the payment is due. Skip the "Welcome" call that has new customers wasting time in the menu driven phone maze. Drop the pay online fees (complete BS). Maybe provide an email address so customers can submit a question without wasting time getting through on the phone or mailing correspondence.
Get act together regarding customer service. Im NOT looking forward to dealing with these fools
worst mortgage company ever! Requested my payment history to finish my refi and still have not received thrm!! requested them online, by phone and to a live person and all I get it we are working on it!! besides all there fees and other bs customer service is non existent!! al other companies let you download your history online!! not this company!! no wonder there are so many law suits against them, get my paperwork so I can get away from you!!!!
