I visited 4 different Neurosurgeons before making my decision on how to address my upper cervical disc issues. Three said a fusion was the only alternative. Dr Chen was the only one who looked at the big picture an all options. He suggested a laminectomy without fusion and I took that route. Immediate relief and shorter recovery.
