Sela is one of the worst businesses I have ever interacted with. They do not care about the residents. I've lived there at the 1220 cambridge st, residents for 3 years and they are the worst. The apartment they gave us was dirty the fridge had duct tape on it they painted over outlets couldn't use internet for the first month. Maintenance took months to fix issues. The apartment below us was shot at multiple times (June 9th 2022) and all we get from Sela is a sorry letter. Once we moved out they charged us $1,300 for carpet ... read more

They don't seem to care about the safety of their residents! Now, it is not the fault of anyone at Sela Investments that I was mugged and carjacked at gunpoint, in the parking lot of one of their apartment buildings. Crime was rising all over the city last summer, it could've happened anywhere. But what IS their fault is their response to my carjacking, or rather lack-of. Mind you, at Sela, residents received weekly emails, alerting us about all kinds of mundane things, down to reminders of seasonal weather changes. Yet ... read more

I spent a year at a Sela owned and operated property, and it was the worst rental experience I've ever had. I had an apartment with an updated bathroom, and kitchen with new cabinets, flooring, dishwasher, stove, microwave and a used fridge. The bi-fold mirrored doors were rusted and a mirrored front was cracked in the upper left corner, the cable cover plate was hanging off the wall, the AC was never cleaned, I was promised a new patio door that was never installed and the pre-move-in cleaning was poor. i lived at sela investment apartment 1 year and half I really love it and happy to be here iam enjoying its wonderful quite place general manager Amy and marta is amazing and helpful I really appreciate the service and everything marta she cares the people like family and friendly Amy and marta thanks for being the best all time i love being here and happy best place to be stela investments apartment

Security Deposit holds. They will push out your security deposit hold as long as possible. I have contacted them 10 times just this week, sent 5 emails, and visited them 3 times in person. Very below average customer service, and no appreciation for customers.
