My dad was a patient of Dr. Sehgal for several years. His cancer was ultimately identified at Corpus Christi Medical Center. He had further delays in notification and biopsy through Dr. Sehgal's office. During visits, the doctor often rushed through charts and said he was too busy for questions. This doctor is arrogant and egotistical and incompetent. My mom went to him and he damn near killed her. The chemo he administered was too potent and ended up damaging her kidneys. It took another doctor calling to stop the treatment. He never apologized or gave a reason. When we went with my mom to a meeting he tried to rush through the meeting and was annoyed that we were taking notes and made him take long in the visit. Would never recommend this doctor to anyone. He’s rude and egotistical. He’s short on bedside manners and although he says he’s religious I don’t think he knows what compassion means.
Dr. Sehgal and his other collegues have taken very good care of me over the two years since I was diagnosed with a brain tumor. The chemo given was the right one to shrink the lymphoma. The cancer went away. At each appointment he treats me with respect and answers my questions. His staff calls when they need to. His recommendation for a stem cell transplant was added after chemo was finished. So far so good. I am so grateful to Dr. Sehgal.
Dr. Sehgal continues to provide the best and highest level of a caring oncologist. He treats patients with respect! God bless him!!!
