Great Company to Work With – I live in Los Angeles. Segallis Real Estate has been handling finding and screening tenants and renting out my apartment for me in New York for the past 20 years. They have made the process very easy, handling everything with no effort on my part. Being 3000 miles away, I need someone I can trust to handle things for me in New York. They have been great.
NOT RECOMMENDED – I had an extremely negative experience working with Segallis Real Estate (and have the supporting documentation to prove it): from them 'losing' a $3200.00 check (which i later found out they cashed) to omitting material terms from a lease agreement (the fact that the landlord sought to have rent paid to third parties and the tenant to cover various sublet fees!), to contacting me repeatedly about money my landlord owed them (thinking that I was going to cover it!) ..some curious communication issues: sayin... read more
NOT RECOMMENDED! As a buyer I felt pressured into a sale with a seller that wasn't 100% sure she wanted to sell. In the end the seller decided not to sell and I got a very large bill from my lawyer.
