I strongly do NOT recommend Seelens. I have many pictures of probably one of many cover up roof jobs they did. Shingled right over obvious rot in multiple places (punky holes in sheathing). Had to tear shingles back from eves and replace sheething. The contractor that subcontracted the job to them ended up paying the cost of materials and labor to repair, because Sean Seelen refused to go good on it. Poor workmanship, unprofessional management.
We had Seelen's re-roof our home and a garage. It was a tear-off and re-shingle on both. They installed ice and water shield over the entire house roof and it was a good thing they did. There was a major downpour here Sunday evening after the Houghton area flooding. We had a few minor leaks from a rip in the ice and water shield and from a piece that blew loose from the peaks. Shawn took care of getting the damage repaired. The drywall needed to dry out before retaping the seams and painting the ceiling though, that is norma... read more

They started at 8 am and had the old shingles off in one hour and the new ones on by noon on our two car garage! Seelen's Home Improvement from start to clean up were done in 4 hours flat. Nice work.
